NAI Chase Commercial’s Douglas McCullough Receives Chair for 2022 Candidate Guidance Committee for Alabama CCIM Chapter

PRESS RELEASE – Birmingham, AL – February 9, 2022

Birmingham, AL – February 9, 2022 – NAI Chase Commercial, an office of NAI Global, a leading global commercial real estate brokerage firm, announced today that Douglas McCullough Executive Vice President-Brokerage has been named the CCIM chair for 2022 Candidate Guidance Committee at the Alabama CCIM Board of Directors Meeting. The CCIM Guidance Committee position will provide a mentoring program for our candidates, covering both coursework and portfolios to help the candidate earn the pin and help the candidates through the entire candidacy process.

Douglas McCullough attended the University of Alabama 1969 through 1972 studying Business Management and Marketing. He graduated from Athens State University in May 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Management of Technology. In mid-1999 he joined Chase Commercial Real Estate Services. At that time, he brought over twenty-two years of experience with property leasing, disposition, and management of commercial real estate.  Throughout his career, he’s been responsible for tenant and landlord representation, office, industrial and retail leasing, brokerage and investment sales and property management.  CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis. Currently, only about 6% of all real estate agents hold this designation.

The CCIM Alabama Chapter is a group of committees that CCIM designees can participate in. The CCIM Alabama is broken into two committees: Executive Committee and Standing Committee. The Executive Committee is made up of the President, Vice President, Treasurer and District President. They are responsible for overseeing the Standing committees and keeping track of records, disbursement of Chapter funds. The Standing Committees help coordinate and implement courses, promote CCIM designations throughout the industry, plan and promote membership meetings throughout the year, work towards fundraising goals for Chapters Scholarship program, and recruit new members and promote CCIM involvement.
