Ft. former Golden Coral Restaurant Building located at 4920 University Drive in Huntsville, Alabama owned by a New York Investor.  Vanessa Morris and Mark Elrod with NAI Chase Commercial represented the seller.

“Selling a property in the difficulties created by the COVID-19 pandemic was a stressful and a volatile situation for the property owner.   The focus for many restaurants became smaller venues requiring a drive thru and/or outdoor seating, neither of which were attributes to this property.  The owner lost a national credit tenant paying very strong rent, and the intensity level was high to maintain lost rent and property value.  In the end we sold a vacant property very close to the original purchase price while occupied. This was a great team win”, said Mark Elrod, Sr. Vice President, Retail of NAI Chase Commercial Real Estate.

McCullough and his team represented the sale of 408 Bank Street, Decatur, AL.  A three-level historical building, built in 1922 as Decatur’s first Post Office was acquired by Maple Run, LLC and home to Magnolia River.  The buyer was represented by MarMac Real Estate, Shane Odom.  NAI Chase Commercial, Douglas A. McCullough, Ashley Farrell and Jordan Marshall Greene represented the seller.

“This beautifully maintained historic property was a real treat to show and tour.  The local history of the property and of the architect of record, Mr. Plato, offered a refreshing set of topics to present from” said Doug McCullough of NAI Chase. “Almost everyone who toured the building was deeply impressed with its character and how well cared for the property is.  Maple Run took great pride in the time they owned the facility and made the transaction a true pleasure. Taylor Glaze Represents Grandview Medical Center in Suburban Office Space

The space is currently occupied by Iberia Bank. However, Iberia Bank will be relocating to a building in International Park.
