RETAIL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT: Total of $100 million of retail property developed: NAI Chase principals have developed over 1.3 million square feet of anchored neighborhood shopping centers, retail centers and drug stores throughout the Southeast.
2006-07 retail acquisition and redevelopment in Huntsville, Alabama includes Village on Whitesburg, a 118,000 sq ft anchored center, situated at 4800 Whitesburg Dr, and considered “main & main” crossroads in the most affluent part of city. The Village has been remodeled inside and out during the past two years by Chase Group Partners, which developed the center 20 years ago, sold it and bought it back just as the 44,000-sf Winn-Dixie grocery was about to close. Fresh Market, 22,000 sq ft serves as the anchor with balance of the Winn-Dixie space divided into boutique-size shops. Bonefish Grill, Panera Bread Co. AT&T, Nothing But Noodles et al followed the Fresh Market opening last year.
Chase Commercial recently remodeled Flint Crossing Market Center, a 64,825 sq ft Publix anchored shopping center. Some other clients served include Bruno's, Bi-Lo, Home Depot, Winn Dixie, Eckerd, CVS, Rite-Aid and a number of regional and national convenience oriented retailers. OFFICE AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT:Total of $145 million of office property developed: NAI Chase has considerable experience with the acquisition, re-development, and development of office buildings totaling over 2.0 million square feet.
Recent new light industrial development in Huntsville, Alabama includes completion of a 12,600 square foot lease-build service headquarters for TVA, and a 50,000 square foot build-to-suit facility for Shearwater Polymers, a research-based drug delivery and manufacturing company.
